Bicycle Motocross, or BMX, as it is more familiarly known, is an extreme bike sport involving racing, freestyle, and jumping. Patrick Hubbard, a carpenter by trade, is one of the four million people in America who enjoy freestyle BMX riding. Hubbard is a BMX expert with a passion for sport riding. In fact, Hubbard spends most of his weekends performing tricks and stunts at local skate parks designed specifically for freestyle bikers.

Hubbard is the survivor of a near fatal riding accident and is a proponent of safe BMX riding. In fact, Hubbard has been featured for his timely tips on safe riding. In his article, “Hubbard’s Top Five Tips for Safe BMX Riding”, Hubbard shares tips for wearing proper safety gear and how to be smart when riding a BMX bike.

Known by his trade name, Ketchup King, Hubbard is a role model for many young BMXers. Ketchup King BMX Team is currently looking for sponsors to help support the talent and success of the team. As part of his dedication to help young riders, Hubbard has an interest in starting a BMX ministry for young riders. Currently, Hubbard, who is a devout Christ-follower, huddles with his team to start each ride in prayer. Hubbard further encourages his team to remember God in everything they do.

Hubbard desires to help and support youth in every way that he can. In his endeavor to learn as much as he can about BMX sport riding, Hubbard is making plans to attend the upcoming BMX training held at Camp Woodward, in Tehachapi, California, the summer of 2012. The weeklong camp features accommodations for riders of all interests. Camp Woodward facilitates indoor, outdoor, wood, concrete, and dirt riders, along with an assortment of ledges, boxes, ramps, and rails giving all types of riders the training and experience needed to develop their riding talent.

Thank you Pearldiver. You are so inspirational. I am inclined to consider your suggestion to expand on the subject of the BMX industry. I find it fascinating and without trying, I have met a lot of wonderful BMXers.
